I had a chance to play at this year's annual "3 Guys, 6 Strings" trans man singer-songwriter showcase put on by Joshua Klipp in San Francisco. Check out the video of me playing there below. You can also find one of me and Joshua Klipp leading an impromptu "I Wanna Dance (With Somebody Who Loves Me)" sing-along tribute to Whitney Houston. I shared the stage that night with StormMiguel Florez, Joe Stevens (of Coyote Grace) and Rosco Kickingstone. It is such a fun, community-building event. Thanks to all of you who came out to the show! Josh just put out a live CD from last year's show, and all proceeds go to support Coyote Grace. Get in on iTunes here.
And this week I have the pleasure of joining a choir of drunken zombies backing up StormMiguel Florez as he records his song "I've Been to Manhattan" for his upcoming music video about transsexual zombies. StormMiguel is fundraising to help make it happen, and I gave $30. Check out more about the project and make a donation here.
