I am so pleased to announce that I am coming back to the East Coast on tour this spring! I'll be starting off in my home state of Virginia, then playing shows in North Carolina, Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont and Massachusetts. I'm still in the process of confirming shows in a few cities, but I couldn't wait any longer to share the news with you.
I'll be accompanied on stage by the hilarious Joel Price on mandolin, fiddle and vocal harmonies. Conrad Sisk will also be joining us on electric cello for some dates in the northeast. When the three of us toured together last year, our secret alternative band name was Max Staxx with Hinky & Pinky. I'll let you guess who was who...
I'm starting off my tour playing three shows with the Durham band Humble Tripe. I met Shawn and Stud when they came to Berkeley on tour last year, and I can't wait to reunite with them in DC and Virginia. About their recent release, roots music magazine No Depression said: “A joy to behold, a collection of lovely, sublime melodies that shimmer and sparkle with a radiance all their own.” I couldn't agree more.
To get more info on all these dates, check out my upcoming shows page.
You can also RSVP and invite your friends on facebook.
East Coast folks, please spread the word! I can't wait to come play for you.
