Sliding Scale Policy
I believe that students deserve to learn in settings that recognize the multiple levels of economic access and class privilege that exist. I strive to make it so that money is not a barrier to participating in my classes or private lessons. For this reason, I reserve some sliding scale spots for low-income students in all of my group classes and my private voice studio.
I also believe that teachers and artists deserve to get paid a living wage. Please be mindful that if you sign up for a class or private lessons at a sliding scale rate when you can truthfully afford the standard rate, you are limiting access for working class and poor students who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
